Mizushima's Debut Novel Wins Award


Hiro Mizushima, also known as Tendou Souji in Kamen Rider Kabuto, who previously left his talent agency to concentrate on his writing career, won the recent 5th Poplar Publishing Grand Prize for Fiction for his novel "KAGEROU."

Hiro Mizushima, whose real name is Tomohiro Saito, wrote "KAGEROU" under the pen name Tomo Saito. According to Poplar Publishing's website, it was chosen for the Grand Prize from a pool of 1,285 entries. The contents of the novel have not yet been revealed at this point. But according to some sources, he is expected to talk about it when he attends the award ceremony on Monday, November 1.

Many are now having high expectations on Hiro Mizushima's writing career. His wife, Ayaka, has indicated that his creative activities will not be limited to novels. It is said that it's also possible that he might decide to adapt "KAGEROU" into a movie or a play in the future.
